If you had the choice, which deck would you pick?

The other thing to look at is the style of concave. The horan concave is a bit tighter--there's like 3 inches of flat before you start hitting the concave. The team has a larger flat spot. I really dig the horan, but the oak team has definitely stood behind that team deck. So really, it's about the features you're looking for. HOpefully that helps some, or gives you something else to think about.

Volcomstone167, how can you say its the same exact board when its clear what me and esnow just wrote Question

length, width, and concave is different = not same board

EDIT:
also on oaks website under 2008 decks: team is higher priced...DO your research

horan pro
width- 15.69
length- 41.4
msrp $242.99

team
width- 15.8
length- 41.5
msrp $247.99

I went with the team deck..

Both were $109.99 with free shipping.. Smile

Tight concave hurts my size 13 feet, so that and a little wider is better..

Ive tried both, but only over a couple of winch pulls so didn't really get long enough to give em a good test. Found both pretty good thou.

The Horan for $109 shipped is still up there.. search for it on Ebay and you'll find it. Someone better scoop up on that..

They both are killer! If I had a little extra cash or didn't have more skates than I could ride I would pick up another 08' Horan, they are really nice.

I've been watching the Horan for quite some time. Every time I log into my eBay account, I have to justify to myself why I don't need it right now but that price is ridiculous. I know if someone gets it before I do, I'll be pissed yet I won't just pull the trigger. I need a good concave though so I'm still twisted on what to do. Too bad Arson hasn't started shipping boards yet!!!

..and by the way.. looks like both deals are gone daddy gone.. check Ebay.

Can anyone tell me how the Horan or Team holds up to rails? I ride 99% cable and this year, I'm focusing on rails so I need a skate to hold up. I'd love to get my hands on an Arson but that doesn't seem to be coming anytime soon (mid/late summer which is near the end of my season in KS) so I need a board to get me through a 4 month stretch of 2-3 days per week of riding.
