I'm not saying anything against the Shamwow product itself because i don't own one, but do believe they work. I'm saying that the commercial has some modifications done to it to make you believe in it. For example when they pour the soda on the piece of carpet, the underneath is wet. However when the next clip is shown, the underneath is try.

First example is when the clip changes at 0:09 when he is suddenly wiping a clean table.
Second is at :43 it is clearly wet, then a :48 it's clearly dry.
