unfortunately there aren't too many people riding in miami right now. ski rixen is a cable park in deerfield beach about 45min north of miami. also Wake 305 might be an option. http://www.wake305.com/. some other south floridians might post more info tho...

hey guys ...

i was wondering what it's like riding at the old stadium on the water where they used to boat race in key biscayne. after seeing some pics of thomas riding there in sfumato and butter, and having visited that spot on my uncles boats over 2 decades ago, i wanna go back. maybe after christmas.

i recall it being a pretty well protected spot, just wondering about the depth and how navigable the waters are there and leading into it? Any info is helpful

raven,

it's pretty well protected but you get a lot of boats out there. the best time to go is midweek during the "winter". i havent been there in years, but it was always a fun trip out to the ocean. the depth is probably from 6-12', but it has a sandy bottom. fun place to shred forsure, just be careful if you go into the stadium. the ladder to get to the roof was almost falling off, and that was at least 3yrs ago. the building is condemned.

ollieshuvitz, Idea thanks a million. that was more informative than i anticipated. that was great with the overhead shots. it brought back a lot of memories. it looks like butter from space Shocked it looks really protected from S, N, and particularly east winds. it's a stretch fo sho, but would be an epic adventure. thanks for the tips homey, you should come along Birthday maybe we can climb that sketchy ladder onto the roof Shocked Arrow

Raven, really easy to navigate but i don't think its open to the public to ride in anymore. the mast academy rowing team is trying to claim it as theirs so i know it was a no wake zone for a while and still may be. Wake305 has the rights to ride there though so if you still want to do it hit them up and i'll make sure you don't get charged for anything except chipping in for gas.
