bi-level wakeskates and bi-level snowskates

The Cassette bi-level looks very similar to a bi-level snowskate. I wonder if that's where the idea originated? Snowskates went though the same phase as wakeskating is now a few years back. First the single decks and then the double decks. Now there are rumors of a "hybrid" snowskate coming out. I wonder if that means that a hybrid wakeskate is on the way? hmmm.

Thomas said he got the concept from a snowskate, but the actual design is different. IE: Bottom part is wider instead of narrower.
