crispy, hey man, your right i did, i realized that when i got down there and wasnt neear a computer for a while, i ended up getting real sick and coming back home early anyways. how was playa negra? i dont think u got many waves as the whole coast was pretty flat for a while. but i hope u had fun man. i didnt get to skate, i was to busy, then sick and it just didnt work out, but i did surf my butt off.

damn man that sucks, but dude the waves in playa negra where supposedly THE best waves they've seen in a long time, 15ft barrels there, and i did learn to surf,and it was a blast, im gonna go there with some friends for senior week, wouldnt want to go down there or be down there around may-june of 09' would ya haha.and i hurt more then i ever have in my life, my back and both shoulders are pretty shot after fighting a 400lb black marlin all by myself, (no neither of my parents wanted a shot at it,) then when it got 30ft from the boat the facking hook pulled through its mouth, did get a 40lb mahi mahi.i wanted to snorkle but didnt find anywhere good to do so.. oh and we woulda been able to skate, i ended up going all through garza/nosara/samara i went all up and down that coastline, but yeah not going over 85km/h sucked ass, the dirt roads where actually pretty nice though, apparently they where just fixed.but cori do you know a guy named manuel, pronounced manu down there, he's from france but supposedly the best surfer around the playa negra area.

glad u had fun, i got real sick and it sucked. but we got killer waves when we were there to. i will def be down to go may 09 if u guys want to set something up. try to get up here this summer and skate crispy. peace yo.

yeah we can set stuff up, most of the peeps goin with me will be younger lol, around 18-19 if thats cool, i will def try and get up there and skate, god knows i need the practice.and im planning on building a winch because there is so many ponds and creeks that i could shred its not funny.

Note to self: NEVER try to drop in on a 15ft wave again, i did two front flips BEFORE i hit the water rofl, good thing it was sand on the bottom, or i might have a new jerk. Smash

the best wave i got was porbably a 5 footer, and about all i did was ride from start to finish all the way down it, doing small carves.

oh yeah roc city, is Rock Hall maryland lol, about 1:45min or so if i do about 90mph all the way to OC, regular its about 2:30 hours.. yeah raven, wanna come to costa too Smile

I guess that's Avellanas. Must be about 2-2,5 hours from Arenal.

TRIPSW, i have been visiting for years, my good freind lives in nosara he is gringo, lived there for 8 years. so its nice to have someone whos always there to visit. but i think this year we are going to hit nicaragua or peru. change it up, costa is just getting so americanized. its hard for us to go there and stay for a few months without cracking the wallet anymore. but ill be back, a bunch more.

TRIPSW, My friend has a house ins esterillos este and one right by Playa Hermosa. Seriously such abeautiful place! surf is epic to, i love escondido reef.
and did u hear about the boy that got attacked by a croc at playa hermosa?

TRIPSW, Is Arenal that valcano? I stayed in Samara and we went to some active volcano a good minute away. and it had a sick ass lake next to the volcano and where we stayed.
