this is really personal preference, go to your local shop and grab them all till you find the one your hand likes the best. and any nonstretch line is good, go with a coated line for durability, will last you a lot longer.

ya Soulprogression has a good point. the rope doesnt matter as long as its nonstretch and the rope is all about what feels good to you. my friend bought a rope and talked it up to me for like 2 weeks and wen i finally rode it i could barely hold onto it

any high end handle would be durable i think. ive never had a problem with a handle breaking. i have a kelly carbon from straight line and the only proble i have is the little black things fall off but it still works fine. and most ropes are pretty durable too, unless, you have 4 people hanging onto one rope dragging behind the boat with a 2 day old rope, then it snaps...

In my experience ropes aren't the problem, it's the handle. If you really want a handle that will hold up I would avoid anything with a foam grip. While carbon part of carbon handles will hold up, if you ride alot you will probably find yourself with a bare carbon handle after about 6 months to a year. My suggestion is to buy a handle that has a rubber grip, it might not be as comfortable as foam but it will last for a LONG time. I still have a tractor grip rubber handle from back in '01 and it still has grip after I used it for about 4-5 years. _________________

BTW, my buddy rides in salt water all the time and has a hard time keeping handles from crapping out on him but he's had success with this handle, which is what I was talking about http://www.buywake.com/catalog/detail/QcoY1 _________________

the handle really depends though, the bigger circumference the easier to hold on, smaller can make it harder, but you can get use to it, personal preference for the most part. _________________ boot to the moon.
