I really hope it doesn't either. those contests are corporate america's attempt to be cool, And thankfully some of us can see through the smoke.
And if you think any wake "sport" needs more recognition then come ride the delta on a sunday afternoon in the summer |

I think it will be in the gravity games first, but Im iffy on whether that will be good or bad, actually both, b/c it will make people like Thomas and Erich, and who ever owns Kampus very rich, when people see the shizz goin down courtesy of lemons, daniels, hampson, etc... and they deserve every penny they get, but on the flip side AAAARRRGGGGHHHH there would be clueless Effin noobs everywhere, tryin to claim they were down with wakeskating since the beginning, and posin there asses off and who ever we named PI(poser inspector) a while back is gonna have to regulate. _________________ why dont you try playing hide and go Fvck yourself |

| I bet they will have it in gravity games next year. It isn't going to be good for the sport but contests are probably the only way for most of the skaters to get any $ at all. The only contest I have thought showed wakeskating in the proper light at all was the toe jam, I wish I could have watched more days than I did. |

seven11dmd, the good thing is that now that summer is "over" all the yahoos have gone in for the winter. Funny thing is it's going to be in the 90's all week
the real riders around here acually prefer the off season. |

| i think contests like the x-games and stuff will make skates cheaper with more being sold and all, but on the flip side it could go in the wrong direction |

yeah but thats the thing, wake " sports" have recognition, but only in concentrated area. my lake is massive, and i can count the wakeboarders on one hand and the wakeskaters on one finger (other then myself) _________________ ride a lunch tray

i don't think it'll be on either, for a while anyway. it just wouldn't be that exciting to watch from a randoms perspective. maybe if it was a total jibfest but there's not enough airtime happening. just look how much they stepped up skateboarding at the last x-gaymes with the mega ramp. that was jawdropping as opposed to a shuvit lipslide on a jetski wake, not so exciting. _________________ the tap - crailtap.com
