I love this. I never said uber alles was a nazi term. I did say it was german, and I used the dead kennedy's song "california uber alles" to support it, because the song had a lot of references to germany and nazi history. And if you read it even closer, you'd realize that The uber alles reference in "california uber alles" is actually from the german national anthem. I even explained every single freaking post when it was relevant.
It was actually someone else that said people in europe were still freaked out by that phrase, but they never came back to defend that statement. Nice try though. I guess next time you'd better make sure you know who you're talking about.
And don't be so insecure. I never said I was always right, nor has anyone else. And I'm not a fricking child, why would I delete a post because it was directed at me? Your post is actually quite harmless, compared to some of the other crap I've seen on this MB. So post away, but make sure it's under your name... _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

you can't demo skates at most palces b/c the liability insurance is too high, the only place I know that demos skates around here is sport chalet, and all they have is a 04 107 byerly, and a 107 scape, oh well at least it lets more people try the sport I guess, I just think they should offer a wider variety, my friend manages the watersports dept. he said their too corporate to carry any company they percieve as a "risky investment" ( read anybody smaller than hype, lf, cwb) _________________ why dont you try playing hide and go Fvck yourself |

Hey, huh, the pics don't work for me anymore. Just me or is anyone else having this problem?
...if so, maybe Dave took 'em off via request by Cassette. _________________ .:Wake UP Films:.

Why would Thomas let Morphine take pictures right in front of him then?
Or were those pictures poached when nobody was looking? _________________

I dont see why any of you would like to ridertwo boards at once....it is not skating anymore...(just because it delivers higher hollies...Get a grip !) Skills come from your legs and knees and a bilevel would not change that.......posers : |

Actually the bi-level has quite a skate feel to it...
And quite possibly Thomas might not of wanted those pics on wakeskating.com or didint know that they were going to end up here.
To be quite honest i still havent seen a patent number, im starting to think that telling everyone that they already have the patent might be a bluff of some sort. _________________ arson-wake.com |

tribal wrote: | SleuCrew which is it.You say the bi-level has a surf feel in one post and a skate feel in another.Surely someone with 17yrs surfing experience know's the feeling is not the same. |
Sorry i guess i should of touched on it a little more, The first prototype i rode was a 43.5 and it weighed 12lbs and deffenitly had more of a surf feel to it. the second one that i got was a 41 that weighs just a little over 9lbs and has much more of a skate feel to it. they were both running completly different top decks as well. All in all both bi-level decks have a very different feel to them than your typical concave or flat deck, with a fin on the first bi-level seems to have more of a surf feel, with the fin off on the 41 i guess the best description would not be so much of a skate feel but more of a wakeskate on steroids.
Sorry for any confusion i should really learn to not post when i have been at the bar all night and im half awake... _________________ arson-wake.com |

my friend called me today from the expo and said the bi level weighs maybe as much as a wakeboard with bindings. i was wondering if anyone thought this would make it difficult to maneuver for some people during tech tricks _________________ you must lose your mind to come to your senses. |

I wonder if that was the prototype, or a final version.. Wakeboard with bindings was about what the one I saw felt like.. |

i think that weight along with the thickness would make it unwieldy. the skate i made is pretty heavy and i know it handles like crap and is difficult to manipulate(but maybe thats just me and my crappy board).
if the bi level is that heavy i think itll need quite a bit of pop (which it does seem like it might) to compensate. the pros dont seem to be having a problem, but theyre pros. and theyre also larger and stronger than most kids and have a lot easier time throwing wood around. _________________ you must lose your mind to come to your senses. |
