Download the song "Puppets" by Atmosphere, or "Makeshift Patriot" by Sage Francis.

Then try to tell me Lil Wayne is still the best rapper out there. And those are just two.

Living Legends, Sleep, Murs, Spawn, Jurassic 5 are also great.

yes some of his songs suck but others are great. on the carter 2 most of those were good songs but if ur makin a cd with 18 tracks on it some of them arnt gonna be good. as for the carter 3, he did not do as good on that one. 6 of those songs are good then the rest flat out SUCK. and do any rap lyrics really make sence?? answer that

Atmosphere, Army of the Pharohs, Jedi Mind Tricks, Immortal Technique are all amazing. i have to say i believe most of what Immortal Technique says politically is halfway true.

alrighty.... first off there is going to be someone who doesnt agree with someone else who believes that lil wayne is the best. no matter how many facts or statements someone may give about how great he is there is always someone with an opposing opinion.
secondly... i think that lil wayne is pretty legit. i like a lot of his songs and he does flow f^cking crazily. but...... i do agree that many people (primarily rich white kids that are around the age of 12-15 and live in the suburbs with their parents) think that lil wayne is god and want to suck on his pee pee every minute of the day.

i do respect that lil wayne does write his own lyrics. there have been numerous articles asking him if he really does write his own stuff. for songs like make it rain with fat joe that was written by someone else but lil wayne's best songs, that make no sense at all but when you think about it deeply but in the end you're like... whoa..., he says that he mainly freestyles. when you hear him smoking some gonja in the background.... thats really him.

end of story is that weezy just smokes a lot of green and ends up freestyling and ends up being pretty damn good at it.
