Bradley Knowles died of a heroin overdose. Him and the guys in the band all were down with the H. There is a killer documentary on dvd which explains the whole history of the band. Brad's death was a tragic end to a crazy life.

uhhh... Bradley Nowell is burried at Westminister Memorial Park in Orange County, CA, he wasn't cremated. I usually stop by his grave once a year and get some stuff off my chest (they're the reason I'm in the industry that I'm in).

Yes, his death was quite tragic, as he left behind a wife and new child. (Jakob should be 13 or 14 now actually).

Bud Gaugh did heroin in the early 90's, but went to "Set Free" and got clean. Most of 40 To Freedom isn't even him drumming.

Eric Wilson wasn't into heroin, just beer and bud, and mass quantities at that.

The box set is great, especially the first and 3rd cd's.

You guys just opened Pandora's box, as they're definately my favorite band ever & I grew up listening to them (since 92).

Long Beach Dub Allstars is no longer a band, but their 2 cds are great.

They also had Long Beach Short Bus, Del Noah & the Mt. Aratat Finks, Eyes Adrift, and a new undisclosed project in the works.

i was wondering about the grave site part. but i swear to god his band members and his dad said in the documentary that he was creamated and when lou died in 01, his was also scattered at the beach. i believe that maybe there was a memorial grave site for people to have something physical to go to and vent. just my 02. but definitly check out a search over at youtube on "sublime documentary". there is two versions,....i watched both,.....really good!!!!

wow, ive listened to sublime since i was in second grade and heard a remix to "what i got"

it is the only band i can listen to for whatever mood im in. The power brad used was one of a kind in his music and no one can repeat it. ever. It is a band that will go down in history and will always be loved and remembered. It is sad to see they arn't here anymore but who knows what they would have accomplished in the future.

RIP

one of the greatest bands to ever walk this planet
