| How often or how many guys get knots in their ropes? I've been hearing something about a rope that is guaranteed to not knot no matter what. |

uhh those accurate jacket lines are "tangle free" or something, but they actually tangle more than any other rope ive ever used haha...
my friend actually has a silver nevin line that kind feels stiff and i have never had any problems winding it back up or letting it out. two thumbs up for that line, whatever it is...
bottom line is that they are wakeboard lines- they will ALWAYS knot up, and its ALWAYS right before your run... _________________ facebook.com/TheLiquidPlayground

Just be glad your knot is on a rope thats typically under 80'. Try untanglling a 500'+ rope knot. Not fun... _________________ .:Wake UP Films:.

If you coil your rope up properly when you are done for the day, you shouldn't have any problems.
In my opinion, the Jacket series is the best rope I have ever used. It may not be 100% tangle free, but if you do get a knot in it, you will be able to get it out. With some of the other spectra ropes, you will just have to live with a knot if happen to get one in your rope.

Another tip that you can try is to unwind your rope at the end of the day. Hold on to the handle, or place the handle on the tower or pylon, and throw the othe end into the water while the boat is in gear. The ripe will untwist and will be a lot easier to roll up.
Also, always roll your rope up from the handle end. |

seven11dmd, try putting a piece of thin towel over the rope, and then use some pliars to pull the knot out. the towel will help to stop the fraying of the rope as the pliars have teeth and will probably rip the rope up. thats my best guess. never had a knot yet that i havent been able to undo with my fingers/nails. _________________ facebook.com/TheLiquidPlayground

my family has the most fool proof and ghetto solution, we never take the tie end off the tower, and when we pull the rope in we coil it into one of the storage compartments making sure the handle is the last thing to come in, then we hook the handle over the "ski tow" that sticks through the v-drive cover, since the two ends never meet, they never get tangled, swear to buddah _________________ why dont you try playing hide and go Fvck yourself |
