Hi all!!!
Very Happy I've been riding for one season and am really getting into it doing lipslides ollies having go at body varials etc...
I took up wakeskating because I popped my knee big time from wakeboarding and motox. I'm 40!!! and feel strong and fit enough
for skating and am up for it. What do you guys out there in the wakeskate world think
is this to old???

Well I'm 37 years old and I've been wakeskating for 3yrs now.Like you I started doing it more than wakeboarding when I did my shoulder again[reacuring injury had surgery already twice].Other than compensating for old injuries[it happens to anyone involved in action sports long enough] I think you are only as old as you feel.Granted I won't push things as much as when I was young and bones break easier but I plan on Wakeskating,skiing,moto-x and surfing till they lay me down to rest.
Here's a pic of one of my riding buds Team Monk,he's 45yrs old and still one of the fastest skiers at Whistler/Blackomb,pups step aside.

believe it or not this is tottaly true, there is a 43 year old woman down here that wakeboards and owns her own boat and goes out with all her friends around the same age who actualy pull her, i've rode with her once and it was the awesomest thing i've ever seen. she seriously was doing w2w 180s huge and w2w half cabs huge with grabs. its insane.

if you think you're too old then you are... it's all up to you.
I know I'll be getting pulled behind the boat till I can't hold on any longer.

Never can you be too old. even if your 80 and in a wheel chair, you can still strap skates on the bottom of that chair and ride!

Too old is when your arms rip off as you get pulled up. That's the ONLY too old there is.
