Andrew MassIVE, yo man all those shots are with a 40d. just find a dark spot, with a dark sky. Somewhere where you can take atleast an 8 second exposure. Set your camera on something flat if you dont have a tripod to use (tripod would be best). I put something bright where im going to stand and then focus on it then set my camera back to manual focus. Put your camera on timer, press the shutter then as the cameras counting down go get in place and when you hear the first click start dancing around with anything that gives off light. Try it with a flashlight, see what happens. Then when you hear that last click of the shutter closing, go run to see what came out ha. Get creative. I set my cam on manual and underexpose it one stop. Play with your fstops to get longer shutter speeds. Use the timer so you can do this by yourself if you dont have help. I only use bulb if I want to do something that takes a lot of time writing with a flashlight. Hope that helps.

eviltweak, i dont think that digi has the settings you need to be able to do long exposures. Start looking for an old 35mm camera or borrow someone else's digital slr camera.

cheapskate, try standing where your going to write in the dark with the light and have someone focus the cam on the light your holding. That should help you keep your stuff in focus. Im diggin that green.
