Man, just rediscovered snook fishin again and am remembering why I was so into when I was younger. Must say I'm hooked again, pun intended. Nice thing about bein older and into it now is that I'm smarter about it, don't just go with blind faith. Definately one of the great things about living in Martin County, we have so many options when it comes to it. Offshore, beaches, inlets, flats ,structures, rivers, and back waters. The whole shabang. Only thing I'm pissed about is the fact that I was out of it for so many years, just thinking about all the good meals and fights I could've had. Mainly been catchin shorts so far but tonight should be good. Full moonish tides on incoming at sunset and lots of bait stiil in the water. Stoked. Even if I get skunked, at least I'll catch something. A good buzz, haha. Anyone else on here got the fishing bug?

I've been fishing heaps lately, the change in temp has the fish going crazy...

We've been kicking ass on kingfish, cobia, and mackeral off the beaches and snook, reds, snapper and jack in the backwater.

the bass are still schooling on conway, its been too windy to spot them lately. nick, not even some breaded and fried catfish? Thats about all the fresh water fish I'd eat. Salt/brackish water fishing is where its at.

The other night my boy Joel grilled up some mackeral that we caught, put it on tin foil with some kinda seasoning, pineapple, and Sailor Jerry. It was INCREDIBLE.

I usually don't even like Mackeral all that much, it's a pretty fishy tasting fish, but he pwnz at cooking...
