I recently purchased a CRF 250 and love it! I need to pick up a CR125, I miss that bike. I too love fall riding. Best time to go trail riding IMO. Too bad my broken hand is keeping me from riding.

two strokes used to be the ones to have, but now everyone realizes 4strokes are so low maitinance and what not. besides you can ride ride trails slow on a 2stroke. whats everyones first bike? mine was a 50cc 2stroke suzuki i remember coming home on my 7th bday and sitting in the garage was that yellow beauty. anyone in FL been to croom?

My first bike was a TTR125L. Then I had a CR125 for about three months, then bought a CRF 250.

ill always be faster on a 2stroke from growing up racing minis

and if you blow the motor , its reasonable to rebuild unlike a 4stroke

ill get pics of the bike after i get it clean today

POPTART, some kid i recently taught to ride the tracks had one... He was from Memphis TN and ripped on the trails.

And yes, Fall mx is like no other! Its nice and cool out ahhh Cool
I wanna upgrade to a 450 though...

POPTART, i'm on a CRF250r (07) and I'm looking to upgrade my bike... any tips? I'm trying to get as much advice as possible cause I dont have money to blow on unnecessary shizzle like graphics... I'm just looking to be the fastest on the track Twisted Evil

mr robotto, Exhaust, slipper clutch, big bore kit.

In that order.

nickl011, exhaust was my first choice but damn its expensiiive. How much benefit do I get from a full kit vs just a slip-on?
And btw should I bother sticking w/ the dual pipes on the crf?

BIG BORE FTL

unless you know a ton about shimming the valves to get it right id say exhaust and spend money riding and getting good levers and bars to get comfy ont the bike

its not the extras on the bike that make it ride good, its all u

and its all in what type of riding you do
