today i bought some work lights (like ones they use at construction sites) to sit outside by my halfpipe. after only using them for like 30 minutes i heard a big pop. i went and looked at them and the glass on one of the lights had completly shattered. has this ever happened to anyone else?

ya that would of been me. i didn't realize that you weren't supposed to touch the bulb till after i had held it in my hand. but it wasn't the glass on the bulb that broke, it was the glass on the outside part of where the bulbs are inside. could touching them still have been the reason?
