|
|
I have an Epic Elite underwater housing that I no longer have a camera for. I used it twice & had my camera stolen. It's still basically brand new, and has been sitting in the box for the past year or 2. Right off the bat I found the flaw with the housing, which was that the mechanism that pushes the start/stop button was VERY week, and wiggled in it's slot (which meant that if jolted, it would slide up or down and you would have to take the back off & re adjust it). I replaced the piece with a machined aluminum one (and the correct size), and it works 100% better than the original. Since the thing is still brand new (and has a nice mod that makes it even better), I'd like to get 200 for it. If anyone is interested, just let me know. (I can post pics if requested too, I'm just at work right now though) _________________ good people drink good beer ~ Hunter S. Thompson |

I didn't realize that the back piece wasn't in any of the shots... don't worry it was just a few inches out of the shot... and still as good as the day I bought it. not a speck of rust (better not be considering it's all stainless)
I'll sleep on the price... I was really looking to get 200 + shipping, but I think shipping would only be like $15, so... let me sleep (and work) on it... _________________ good people drink good beer ~ Hunter S. Thompson |

Yeah, pretty much anything. (except a big HD like my Sony V1U) It's completely adjustable and fits over 300 models... _________________ good people drink good beer ~ Hunter S. Thompson |

| I was going to get it but I realized my camera doesn't have an eyepiece on it, and only records when the screen is open. |

can't see through the eye piece anyways, like most cases of this sort, you have to open the screen and flip it around _________________ good people drink good beer ~ Hunter S. Thompson |

| I have this same housing and the mechanism on mine broke. shiznackle engineering. Was wondering where you got that made or if you made it if you'd be willing to make another one to sell? Let me know, would be nice to get some footy from the water. |

I have a new one on the way and will be making another machined mechanism... I don't think it'd be too much trouble to make 2... I'll keep you posted... _________________ good people drink good beer ~ Hunter S. Thompson |
