key, that's actually an age old way of drawing and painting, upside down. When you draw that way, you're actually looking more at the shape and corellation of the lines instead of the object/subject you are drawing. The book "Drawing From the Right Side of the Brain" has an exercise where you do that and it is amazing how it turns out. Better than rightside up. If anyone is into drawing, definately get that book, it will help anyone out so much.
