pardon me for this drunken message, but is anyone else now at college and finding themselves unable to ride.....i think my season is now over cuz i just dont see myself being able to get out anymore.......please tell me im not the onlyone one (although i think i am cuz everyone seems to be either 15 or 25) Wink

I'm in the same boat. I'm here in H-town and no-one at my school has heard of wakeboarding, let alone wakeskating. *sigh* Luckily, Austin is only 3 hours away, so I go up there on the occasional weekend to ride.

i go to college next year. but i will hopeully be going to Southwest texas state in san marcos.....abuot 10 min from TSR!

i hear you loud and clear. I'm going to Indiana University. They do actually have a club ski team, which i would enjoy doing. but right now, i probably won't have the time cause i am on the diving team and that takes up enough of my free time. so probably next year i will join, or mayber this year too. i don't know. but i really want to go out and ride. i brought my integrity that i have only rode on for one weekend! ugh, its killing me!

Yeah same here I am at the university of tampa in florida so I have to be able to find one person to ride and owc is like an hour and a half away so I can always go there if I get really desperate which I am.

im at fsu and theres a sick as wakeBOARDING club here that i ride with so i get to sneek a wakeskate run whenever the prez isnt looking Cool

I might transfer up to FSU or UCF next year...I only wakeskate though and I go to FAU right now and live like 25 min. away from Ski Rixen so I ride pretty much 5 days a week and still work and go to class.

im riding just as much now as i ever have. no class on fridays means im at the delta in an x-star. my school is 1 hour from home, and ~1 hour from the delta. its kind of nice because ive kept all my riding friends.

I feel ya man, going to the lake is an all day thing here in so cal, and with college occuping what little free time I have, I have no time for shizz anymore, except the obligatory every day crap that is, my friend just got called to Iraq and I couldn't make it to his going away party b/c of all the crap i had to do

For First Year University, I went from getting paid to snowboard everyday at Blackcomb (instructing snowboarding) to paying stupid amounts of money to listen to my Economics Professor Profess. IT SUCKED!! I went through massive withdraw. However, I soon replaced riding with getting laid, and that made life sweet again. Remember, University is when Girls put-out the goods.

I enjoyed University a lot. University/College is a huge struggle, but it is well worth it. I managed to score a sweet job after school and could travel the world. Images http://www.gavinjocius.com

I got into wakeskating pretty late, but now I love it. I can understand how you would go through withdrawl. I am going through it right now at work.

This sounds gay, but it is true---stick with school!!!
