well as many of you might have noticed , longboarding season is on us, the transition from the water to the snow via pavement
i have a San Clemente Longboard and i love it , but im looking to make a hybrid
i had a friend in cali that took an old school pool deck with the plastic rails on the side and put huge spacers on it and the largest set of longboard trucks he could find.
it was sick it rode like a longboard but you could ollie up on curbs and shizzle
shuv it
etc
so i wanna make one
and im clueless about these older decks and their newer immitation decks
where should i start _________________ https://vimeo.com/moontowerco |

| 1988-1990 POWELLS are awesome bombers. I rock a 1989 Nikky Gurerro with big indys and 68 wheels. it rips, but it has a huge fish tale that takes some getting use to, most younger kids hate it. I also have a new Santa Cruz Knox Vets division with the pin up girl, a little more modern shape but still old school, much more versitle, can still bomb it and ollie up curbs. |

| I ride both at the skatepark the Powell is my vert pool setup from when i was a kid, big rails jaw bone big wheels it shreds hard but not really a tech machine, its steez cruiser thats the one I nose ride in the pool. The knox is the vets div GIANT a 8.7 32.4 I ride it with 145 indy regs and 60mm ricta cores. you can kickflip it with little to know problem its alot bigger than most are use too but it shreds. |
