So it seems like the skater bro is back "in", which I deeply despise. I live in a college town and the fad is back in full force. Skater bros, I hate you. I hate your american eagle or hollister (insert stuipd color here) polos and pookah shells. I hate your hat that says "cocks" on it. I hate your etnies shoes. I hate your shaved legs and tanning bed bronzie skin. and most of all skater bros, I hate the fact that you push yourself around on a skateboard for half a block and then carry it for 3. GTFO of my world.

I skate around and bomb all the hills on my campus...but yesterday I did it in a hollister polo. I am rly tan so dam dude im sorry!

Dood I kid you not, this kid who you described perfectly went to my school.. he would wear like bright pink polo with an even brighter green one underneath with an ipod nano arm strap holder AROUND SCHOOL... sometimes not even plugged in Shocked

brassmonkey, can't wait until it isn't cool to look like a skater again, though what you stated is far from skater. At least one fad went out and we can actually wear what is rightfully ours, mesh hats(don't even fvckin call them "trucker hats", that name is tainted). They serve a purpose, function before fashion. And if you rag on them, you never wore them before they were "cool" in the first place and don't wear them now that they aren't "cool".

feelnjstfine.......I don't think it will ever go away. I remember being young and wearing massive Blind and Fuct jeans and getting my ass kicked and chased around school on a constant basis. Everyone HATED skaters and then suddenly......everyone carrying around a skate....wearing the brands...etc. None of them even gave a flick or tried, hey jsut got drunk, high, sat on the skates and douched out. I walk around and see it constantly still, and I hate it man. Skateboarding is like true punk rock, it was never meant to be mainstream, exploited, and everywhere. Something that was so pure and true at one point becomes a fcuking fashion statement....and it breaks my heart
