Alright everybody. If you don't already know surf expo is the weekend of the 12-14th in Orlando and if you are not planning on going you need to reconsider. Expo itself is a great time but after the Expo the wakeboard event of the year will be held. Red bull is hosting an event called Red Bull Wake Labs...the event is extremely hush hush so i cant tell you much about it. (The riders have not even been completely informed on what is going on!) What i can say is that this is a multimillion dollar Professional wakeboard event that will be unlike anything ever done in the sport before. The system of pulling the riders is completely new and has never been used in a competition before and the course is set up unlike anything ANYONE has ever done before. It will be held at night after Expo is over downtown in the same lake that J.D Webb made his record breaking jump in. (I'm not sure if it is sat night or sun night...ill let ya know when i find out). Im not kidding when i say that this is going to be huge! The event is open to the public so get as many people from your club, group or team together and come down. If you have any questions just hit me up and ill let ya know what i can."

They've got some pretty good information on wakeboarder.com and on the wakeboarding magazine website.

quater pipe has been done before.

i have heard it to be considered and epicfailure. i saw some sick shots from it though, either in wbm or AW.

that thing in the picture looks to be more along the lines of a bigass wall ride.

that little park reminds me of a skatepark. looks like so much fun.
