So has anyone on here seen it yet? I bought it at nationals and whilst I will review it, I also can't contain myself any longer. I'm sure some of you will never see it, especially if you hate wakeboarding with every fiber of your being. It doesn't have clear rider sections. It's more documentary style, high def and I think it emphasizes the medium (water) a lot...like its effects on film at night with lighting, etc etc. Otherwise, I think you will dig.

The wakeskaters are reed and grubb and I think reed is like the comic relief. It's really all about delivery. Also, at the very end he and grubb winch a metal rail in this stinky cow pond and jd webb talks about how he had to eff with the newbie by really maxing out that winch and jerking him forward. It's hella funny.

anyway, for real. Let's bond. Is the soundtrack as kick ass to you as it is to me?

My friend Nick Schrunk at the university of Iowa helped come up with the idea. He is real into film, editing, photography...creative type ish'. anyways, the idea was to get wakeboarders, wakeskaters, and photographers all together and shoot something totally differenent and give everyone a new and exciting opportunity. They had high power spotlights and smoke grenades to work with as well.

yeah, I can do that later (I'm in a hurry). Right now there's one on myspace by flying lotus that's supposed to be a free download, but I cannot get it to work. I'm going to try at school because it's a kick ass track.

I wonder if the soundtrack will be the same on TV? Either way, I'd recommend watching it at least once. Collin harrington has a pretty sick nighttime layback. Cool

OK, so I was able to get the download to work before I left! I wanted to make a jubilant post, but I did not have the time. so the one free track is at myspace.com/flyinglotus and it's called "$tunt." It was on a limited album and only 500 copies were made.

I think the "you are beautiful.." part is the name of the album, and the artist is Yppah. It is on itunes--that's where I found all but one song.

I love the electronic stuff, too. When that trailer came out, someone compared that song to ratatat (sp) and I thought the same thing when I heard it.
