i have one, i have only taken 5-6 sets with it with no problems, the pbt bottom seems to handle rails nicely, the only thing that i noticed that i am not used to is then you cut out you need to have more weight on your back foot or the edge you are leaning over starts to drag. but then again i am 6'1'' 175 and it is only a 38'' board. now is the time to get one if you can find still find a 2008

i think its safe to say that both are high quality decks, what would you rather ride a 42" 14.5 pounder or a 38" 11.5 pounder?

and really, how long before the next "great innovation" that makes everyone drain their bank accounts on a board that you must wait for? i think 2-3years tops.
