i was just saying that sal23's originaly came out as éS and are now out rebadged as etnies. éS, etnies, emerica, sheep (defunct), and thirty two (snowboard) are all under Sole Tech. first éS muska's were cool cos they had a stash pocket. emerica thomas' and johnsons weren't too bad either. _________________ the tap - crailtap.com

I had a pair of Adio Opuses this spring and loved them, super thin sole, theres a super thin layer of polyurethane and then the outsole. Best feel ever, zero break-in time too. Somebody told me they weren't even made for skating, if that's the case, I'm going to start skating in non-skate shoes more. But alas, they wore out and I was dumb enough to get something else.
Now I have a pair of 88 Kristian Svitaks and completely hate them. They felt good in the store and everything, then when I started skating in them I could not get a feel at all, everthing feels sloppy and all over the place. So even after breaking them in for the last four weeks it's the same deal.
I guess I'm bound to the paper-thin soles... Too bad. _________________

For skateboarding? Doesn't the mesh get chewed up pretty bad? _________________

i've been skating DVS lately. I have to agree, back when I was in high school in '97 the kostons were a sick shoe to skate. _________________ integrity-wake.com | chriscut.com |

I now have a pair of Fallens, and they are the sickest ever. They're light, simple, comfortable, look good, are synthetic materials and I was able to skate fine in them right out of the box. That's hard to beat. _________________

| I like the TNT's, I think they are close to the best shoes I've ever skated in. Can't wait to wear them out so I can wakeskate in them. |
