i havent used kik pads, or the metal fins. the k-39 is sick though it has good pop and a lot of foot room.

its an awesome board for everything. rails, w2w, tech, lip, everything. the one thing ive noticed is how easily it scatches, so if you like the graphics you might want to clearcoat your board b4 hittin rails Wink

Yea, I just had to repaint mine, if you get lazy and dont fix the scratches it will delaminate pretty quick.

As for the ride, I love the board, I'm actually liking it more than my friends casstte concave.

The kampus k-39 does have a problem with delamination but they are really cool about warrenting the board. if you want to get the k-39, look at www.evogear.com. they are super cheap

the official flogger board for team pirate is a K-39, and it has held up through numerous crashes and commando sessions, I recently had to bondo up some huge gouges in it, from our friend running into shore, and a barrell. But it hasn't de-lammed yet, although we might swap it to grip instead of putting the foam back on. my only suggestion is to get one of the newer boards that are hot pressed, less prone to water damage, but all of us like it equally as much as our concave boards.

i use my k 39 to hit the rail and it is really awesome! The deck is super stable and feels just like a oversized skateboard! Never used the pads. Never used the silver fins (i think that they should be used only for hitting boxes and for nose/tail press....not sure). Anyway K 30 really rocks on rail for sure!
