hey how many of you have an sst and have broken a bottom deck, or know someone who has and why? cause i really want to get one since i wont have to wait at all (ambush is like 20 min away from my house). thanks

well im on lake lanier, and don't know if any of yall heard, but its down 15+ feet, and we had to take our boat out for the season:cry:, but i am wokin on a winch, but still have a board in the meantime anyway, so time isnt an issue Neutral

i belive i already said this in your other thread, but my buddy yuri broke 3 42in. sst bottem decks. However, from what I've heard, the 40.5's are much better made and no one has broken one yet as far as i know.

The Kid, and supposedly aaron reed never broke any cassette top decks...

i guess thats cause he's the best wakeskater in the world

my friend broke two bottom decks in a matter of a couple weeks.

EJazzle, i guess with reed's consistency in his tricks it's not subjected to being nosedived and bombed on trick attempts like it would be to someone who is just trying to learn those tricks.

i broke 3 also, well 2 of them and the PBT ripped off the 1st one but that one is still good just missing some pbt on the edge.

I just got an sst 42, rode today for the first time and I have to say it's a great board... great pop, very stable landing big w2w, spins better on shuvs...I had a catalist, a vinyl 108, a reed 42 and I think this is the best I ever had so far, I suggest it!! though, this is how it looks after 60 minutes of riding, hitting no rail or jumps whatsoever...It seems like there are cracks along the screws and fins (I have used it with only one fin), and you can feel something by touching the bottom of the board. One of my buddies said that may be due to lack of glue (how would you call the bottom layer) I'll try to post picks, feedback please

dude i rode a vinyl 108 too
and then got this board and i've probly ridden on it for about an hour and a half
and it looks the same as urs on the bottom, i'm also riddin wit 1 fin
this board shuvs so much easier i can land 3 shuvs so much easier now
like 1 out of 2.5

anyway where do u buy a new bottom deck for it

I broke a bottom deck of a 40.5
I was just going around the outside of a turn and hit some little rollers and the bottom deck dug and snapped it.
I think if i break it again i'm gonna look for a new deck. any thoughts on an integ team vs the sst?

i got the 40.5 and even after 1 or 2 sets i could see were it was getting waterlogged around the screws after about 10 sets a few of the plys started cracking right through one of the screw holes.......my thoughts would be wait till next year, love the board but not when i need a new bottom deck every week or so

it's a great board but chickity china the chinese chicken liquid force. surely they can get something right for once??

i love mine but mine looks exactly like the one pictured above.
