Hey, not sure if this is a good section to ask in but this is where I am putting it.

So I am looking for a cheap pull and am wondering what type of cheap boat I should get. I dunno if there is a best when your looking for a cheap boat, but if there are any ideas I will take them. I would wanna try and keep it under 5k which is pretty cheap. I was thinkn of some type of small fishing boat, or old whaler. Ideas are welcome.

Thanks

kornhouse, that's brassmoneys malibu.

If your lucky you might be able to find a nautique 2001 or an old MC stars and stripes that fit your budget. Good luck.

you can build yourself a killer little john boat setup for that.

I got a 16ft aluminum hull with trailer for $500, and a free 25 hp mercury hand tiller, spent about $50 throwing a plywood deck and hatch in it and carpeted it. Put in some 6.5" kenwood marine speakers powered by a little amp with my ipod running right into it that I had. It pulls like a champ and doesn't use a drop of gas. Throws a really fun little wake too good for in/outs and lip tricks.

80's Tri-Hull Glastrons.

its going to be way cheaper than 5 G's.

we still have ours.

it glides on top of the water.

gets good gas mileage.

perfect shaped wake.

and pops you right up, ours has a evenrude 70hp 2stroke.

its never broken down in the 10 years weve had it.

overall great boat.

willing to sell if intrested. Cool
