How much difference does board weight make. Does a heavier board track better or worse?

dmacrafic, Everything makes a difference, from length to weight. The smallest amount, ie. 1 inch or 1 lb can make that much of a difference.

Anywhere around 10 lbs should be a good weight though.

dmacrafic, more weight better it is for w2w (to an extent) its all personal preference Arrow how many times do people say that LOL

even with a 9 pound board it will still go w2w easily

k. because i was looking at gitting a sst40.5 but that weight seemed kind of heavy

i have found that my favorite average weight is 8 to 9 lbs.

dmacrafic, it might sem heavy but i have a zariel and i think they are heavier than sst's and i love the weight. once your getting pulled you cant notice it at all
