thats right, i realized i needed to work on my switch ollies and landing for. but each time i'd hit the water i'd just lose my balance. i dont live that close to a lake so i pulled out the old skateboard and rode switch every chance i got. i am definitely more comfortable on the water.

i get hurt almost everytime i ride my skateboard. i like hitting the water better. i do like the fact that i can land more than 2 or 3 tricks on a skateboard though.

do you think it could have something to do with your main hand on the rope or your main foot pushing off?

Yeah! I thought I was the only one. I do everything goofy, except skateboard. I gotta show my friends this forum, they think I'm insane for riding different.

danny hampson rides really silly like that. who's noticed he can only do certain tricks regular and certain tricks goofy. kickflips goofy. ollie tricks, fs bigspins, and rails regular. i wonder whether he says hes regular or goofy entering comps.
i think their is a preference for right-handed people to want to hold the rope dominantly with their dominant hand. and has anyone noticed that regular, right-handed skaters and wakeskaters ride better switch. (and vice versa for leftys) that says something.

I skateboard, snowboard, and surf goofy, but I wakeboard and wakeskate regular. When Im holding the handle right hand my body is always wanting to go regular. Its awkward. It took me a while to shuvit because im used to doing it goofy.

Maniel, i am the exact same...i skate regular and wakeskate goofy...so all in all it just messed me up...i stoped skating...couldn't get into it. Picked up a bike instead...but just recently dropped that as well....so now its just the wakeskate. and occasional snowboarding....incase anyone cares
