everyone who thinks this is a copy needs to shut the fvck up/
have u seen skateboards
have u seen snowboards
have u seen surfboards,
there is a general shape that is proven to work and all companies follow it with slight modifications
so the same will be applied here to wakeskating. you dont like it then get outta here. we dont need you around
grow up

yes, only in wakeskating is there the constant accusations of some companies shape looking like anothers, I can't wait till its all comming from a few places like skateboarding and snowbaording. If you have the mental capacity to consider that fact that only so many shapes are proven to work. There is only one company that has ever been ripped off, but because they are not around anymore, we don't talk about the fact that every company that is around today, borrowed ideas, changed, modified, the shaped and designs that they had created. It is honestly in our best interest to have more standardized shapes like skateboards have.....we have a few shapes that work, and slight variations from the different companies that make them...most of which is just preference or aesthetics. And while im on the topic, the next person that makes some lame @SS claim about some companies graphics looking like something that they are not, I will hire someone to kill you. I noticed there is some green in this obrien deck, lets all look through old board graphics till we find on thats close and accuse them of stealing.....its just stupid, and if I wasn't friends with the graphic designer for obrien, I would still be smart enough to know that it is possible to have original or twist on art. Just for thought I am always excited to try new boards from any company...lets ride boards before we judge them......just a thought...... Question

mikeskatesonwater, I can start a list of stuff I'd rather spend my money on if you want. Wakeskating doesn't need any more boats like that.

ahahha, well being that I have rode both, and I have no idea what your talking about with things that you would spend you money on rather than Wink ......I have ridden it, but feel free to do as you wish as a consumer...its probably one of the few freedoms you have left.

Judging from pics only I have to say it's too wide and too thick.

Although I have heard that it rides really smooth and slippery when wet. I love that.

bmr712, Just a personal preference man it's not like I'm saying it's too wide for you, just me. I wear a 9.5 shoe so the width is too much.

that side angle... makes it look exactly like a byerly legacy..... not saying the copied it... and honestly i dont even care if two boards look the same, just stating a fact. The two boards are very similar. But im sure its solid, i wouldnt mind giving it a test run.

just a little correction, electricsnow=she.

And we will have to see on the interview/write up. The attitudes on here didn't help much, which is very frustrating since I was very interested in completing it. Thanks to those who have an open mind and also recognize variations in design beyond the actual concept.

and of course, this board is not for everyone. There isn't a single wakeskate out there that every single person loves. This is just more variety, and if you don't dig, that's totally cool.
