goooood luck haha i've been in that game for a little while. I've got a guy willing to give me one for 650 and there's one on craigslist with a broken LCD for 500 Laughing

I recommend for good quality footage a Panasonic PV-GS500, and for better function, you MIGHT be able to get a used Sony VX1000 on ebay for about 500.

p.s.

Dibs on all GL1's on ebay Cussing

Laughing

DirtyCracker, You won't find anything reliable for under 1,500. If it's cheaper than that, something is wrong with it.

If you are looking to spend under 1,000. I recommend the GS500. Even as a consumer cam, it's got the triple chip and I think the picture on it OWNZ the GL1. Panasonic for life.

TAD, i got a lead on a pv gs320 its a step below the gs500 i guess but i read the reviews and everyone said the picture is very close and gs320 is also 3ccd

oh and for 300 dollars. i was thinking just buy it cause for 300 it be worth it even if i buy a proconsumer camera later

I used the GS500 forever and had the chance to shoot with a GL1 for a weekend. Uploaded the footy and the GS took the cake for me. Fvck with the settings and you will get a damn good picture for 300 dollars.
