So i just upgraded my motor to a 8hp and am using the same spool as i used for my 6.5
It pulls one of my girl friends fine shes like 130
but itll bog me then when i get to about 250ft in (got 500 feet of rope)
itll get me up and to speed just wondering since i changed the motor do i gott change the ID on my spool to a bigger radius i just have a kart wheel right now so i wanna say its between 4 and 6in |

| if it worked with a 6.5 hp it should work with an 8. Does it pull fine until you get to 250 ft? how narrow is your spool? |

| and it worked fine with a 6.5?? Changing your sprocket or spool diameter would probably help. |

| key, before your guy weld or does anything like that, make the spool design adjustable, so you can increase and decrease your diamter. use metal rods bolted to the side walls with hole cut at different diameters. |
