I spoke to a local about buying this board, it's in mint condition. $50.00. Does it sound worth it? It's a little big, but it is a Cassette concave (I believe it's not a flat...) Can anyone tell me about this board? _________________ forever shreddin' |

It's not a concave. It's the 45 inch flat deck--I have one in the "museum."
If it's something you're into, I think 50.00 is a good price. I paid something like that for mine last year (50-70) and it's lightly ridden with foam grip.

the 2001 46" flat deck was nicknamed "the letchy." _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

LemonWake, I wakeskate 2-3 times a week. I ride the cables sometimes. I also have a homemade winch. I just bought a 96 waverunner that pulls beautifully and I even have a lake-house in the family down an Pomme De Terre. I ride. I have 3-4 buddies here in town whom also ride. I agree not a lot of people in town also ride. I bought the board from Brett at Sitzmark. He had it and just wanted to get rid of her. You should know that it's not the location but the vibe baby. Come to think of it, you live here... So I guess you are a local that rides. Seriously, though you should come out and ride with me sometime. I am going thursday, Saturday, Sunday too. _________________ forever shreddin' |

DirtyCracker, I DO know the worth. I merely asked to see what other peoples opinions were w/o sounding like an ass. I own a 2005 A. Reed bi in MINT condition. I treat it like an original Tony Hawk Powell from back in the day. I love Cassette, and would probably pay upwards of $400.00 for a nice 4-track or even a solid 42" concave. I admit my knowledge of the earlier Cassettes is hazy, so I thought I'd get some additional insight. The board is a real beauty and I plan on keeping her as a collectors piece. _________________ forever shreddin' |

Probably, but then if they were back, they wouldn't be as sought after either. Good question. _________________ forever shreddin' |
