As for right now I'm usin an old pair of asics running shoes. They are vented so they stay nice and light, terrible grip though.

Any shoe will do just fine.

I like Nikes SBs.

Reefs are good but they fall apart way to fast.

Old skate shoes rawk hard but they are heavier. some people like that though.

Slip on vans are pretty gnarly, but if u skate in them for a while u tend to get a rash thing and it burns.

Really any shoe with mesh or vents will work well.... try some nike SBs or 6.0s.

I use to were Geof Rowleys like 4 years ago when I use to skate. Those things were awesome for skating. You could really feel the board well. Im rocking a pair of Empire shoes. They are paintball company but they put out some skateshoes randomly. I like them but they are the only shoes I have used.

ZachTullier2, check out UGP wakeskate shoes. They are most comfortable shoe ever. So legit. Kinda heavy but the grip is sick and the shoes are sex on water

i've had mine since early june and they're holding up pretty well. i'm just starting to see some wear on the bottoms, and that's riding almost every day. they're super light, but my one complaint is the soles don't stay. my buddy has a pair and he just took his soles out. i super glued mine down and they're not moving around too much anymore.

skimboarder, don't get me wrong, i love them. i just put some super glue underneath to keep them from moving around.

ZachTullier2, whatever ones you have on your feet when you're riding. You're riding, that's all that matters.

nike 6.0 has the slipperiest grip out of any shoe i've ridden, espicially the wake editions, they feel like they have plastic soles. i hear the gum soles shred, same with the mavrks

dvs' are super grippy, if you want a light really grippy shoe that you can feel the board out nicely with, the dvs triumph is for you

i used to ride them, now i ride a pair of ramondetta circas, grip nice, and are heavy, heavy shoes make my tricks feel cleaner, i dont know why.

I like vans classics but there isnt much padding to protect your foot from the board.
