Relentless

Ok, so I haven't heard much about this highly anticipated flick since its premier a month ago, but I can now say that I have seen it.

At Wakestock, we were at the Liquid Force booth asking about the movie and why it wasn't for sale and such. I guess we must have harassed the staff so much they decided to promise we could see it the next day. So bright and early Saturday we stopped by and sure enough there was a little compact DVD player, and 2 first class seats to watch the movie in. So myself and Maniel ended up watching Relentless in its entirity, with Tino Santori, who yes does ride for Jobe, but everyone was giving him a hard time saying he should have been in the movie, and Kevin Henshaw's dad, who had seen it at the Reno premier. Apparently at the premier there was no sound so everyone was pretty upset, but we got a good version and let me tell you this movie is sick, absolutely sick. The reason it isn't shipping yet is because Justin is changing a few of the songs and changing a couple of parts, Melissa M's being one of them, even though it is great.

Now, as for the skating, it features Steve and Tim primairly both sick parts. Some of Steve's section leaked onto the internet a few months ago so I wasn't as blown away(despite the wake to wake kickflip), even though it was a dandy. But Tim's part was unreal. The kid kickflips over everything, rocks, pylons, a picnic table lengthwise and a varial flip over a rock, a frontside flip, its just such a sick part.

For the wakeboarder in me, Watson's section is unprecidented backed up with a solid Neil Young tune. Froggy is sick, Shane's part is beyond me as well. Necrason has an unreal part, which is nice to see cause his style is so good, and everyone else just dominates. This is such a good movie, I can't wait to see it again....its all such a blur of excitment and joy I can't describe or remember everything. All I know is the LF does it right, and by that I mean Justin Stephens is the man, what a film.

Justin Stevens is awsome at makin movies dude. he made the preview to relentless so well i cant wait to see the movie for my first time

I can't believe Tim is thwoing that stuff. He must have been hiding out and training for this past year.

ya i dont think that his sponsors, LF especially, have been trying to get him into lots of media stuff. like for one, i would have liked to see him in asterix, but there might be more goin on there than i know about.

same here...i really think he stands apart from the crowd and thats what makes his videos so enjoyable.
