| i went out for the first time today and was able to get up on the first try. i can get up but i dont have that good of control. i got it a little when the boat slowed down. how fast should i be going. and when i finally felt a little comfortable i decided to try an ollie but when i would push down a little in the back the board felt very unstable and shaky. any tips on how to have more control and possibly do an ollie |

i'd say go about 21 mph
and my friend who learned how to wakeskate today was sorta having the same problem and i told him he could put more weight on his front foot, which seemed to work _________________ http://www.stickandflick.com

| the more you ride the more comfortable you will be. Its awkward at first, but you get used to it. |

Same stuff for me, used to be insane awkward to ride but now i am really comfortable. Just takes experience. _________________ "Wakeskating is...not fun. Its about getting in the water, landin your effin tricks and gettin out."

partynaked77, Don't worry about ollies yet. Learn to carve and slash and ride switch and do lipslides fs and bs. Basically spend some time just riding, getting to know the board, getting to know the water, becoming close friends with each. _________________ - Evan Molina |
