those are on e-bay ? they look nice. i think its great that people post when they find something on e-bay that others may be interested in , but don't have the time to search for themselves . thanks for sharing the info ! Cool

dbanana, We help for them to search we dont hand them to everyone on a platter. If people want to actually do some searching for some and want to know how to go about doing so I will help 100% but taking that task away and just showing people where they are is not cool IMHO.

dbanana, dont you see how that makes sense though? we'll tell you the best way to find them but just keep auctions that aren't yours off the site Very Happy everyone is happy and there is no need to post every cassette for sale in the classifieds section... and then maybe the collectors will stop over paying for them.

uidzero.... yes i do see that , and as i said before , i agree with what you are saying.(i like to find an old cassette as much as anyone else ) but it is not a rule of this site as of yet.......and i think everyone was a little too harsh on the kid who posted about the cassette on e-bay. he had already said he was sorry and had removed his post. and as i had pointed out.....there were already over 160 people (showing on the counter), that had seen the board up for auction when he posted about it.

I don't believe I directed any of my comments at the kid who posted the thread I just jumped in to the conversation. I really couldn't care about the kid, he didn't know. It makes sense not to post an AUCTION that isn't yours. Pretty simple concept, and although it may not be a "rule" threads have been deleted plenty of times before for it. This forums isn't really actively moderated like some of the larger ones but as it grows you'll see things will change.

uidzero , i just re read the topic that was deleted.( i printed off a copy 'cause i knew it would be deleted after my post got a reaction ) Laughing
and it still looks (to me ) like you....and others as well....had directed your comments at wsjason . you should not post an e-bay auction that isn't yours......i agree completely.......but i also feel that the mature adult members of this site should be a little less harsh on someone who obviously didn't realize he was making a mistake.

again.....this is just my opinion......which i am entitled to. the same as you are entitled to yours. Wink

BTW......you are NASTY when you get riled up. Arrow Laughing Laughing

uidzero, it's not that it's not actively moderated. It's that we really don't like stepping in if we really don't have to. I've always been supportive of freedom of speech and people always get really sensitive if you over-moderate. Again, some of the stuff in non wake has been really close to crossing the line, if not doing so (depending on how you see it).

my point is that you seem to be very worried about someone posting e-bay auctions on this site , and say that all such posts should be deleted.
IMO , you should be more worried that some of the posts you make are crossing the line and could possibly get you barred from the very site you say you care so much for.( and worry about protecting from liability issues.)
you suggest an over 18 forum for posting pics and topics not suitable for minors. this would be very difficult for the moderators to implement and administer. IMO.......it would be much easier to just get rid of the few that insist on posting unsuitable subject material.

If you're an adult and want to have a mature conversation, start one. If it's about porn or whatever, save it for a PM or whatever else. Wakeskating.com was not designed to hold discussions based around that sort of material. I think dave was a lot more strict than what we've been lately.

I know you want to share your porn collection with us, but I would suggest kicking back having a nice cold one, and waching your favorite episode of Queer as Folk, plus im sure your already a member of a forum that meets all your needs. Last I checked this site was for wakeskating, I think you are a @ss hat. Shocked

my thoughts exactly. Wink

Lets keep ws.com the way it is and maybe someone will create a wakeskating forum web-site that is straight 18 and up. age verification useing cc# and such. say and post what the fvck you want to say and post

uidzero....maybe you should stop worrying about this sites liability issues....and start an over 18 site of your own. Idea
