its not one of the choices but i ride behind a yamaha fx cruiser 4-seater... i think a better name for this topic would be "boat or PWC?" o well...

i want to start riding behind a boat a little more so i can get better lip combos cuz the biggest my wake gets is like 10-12 in.

I'd much rather ride behind a pwc when i'm behind a boat I hate waiting for the boat to turn around a pwc can just whip right around and pick you up.

boardslides and lipslides on a pwc are kinda pointless though, like yeah u can do them but theres no need to balance like there is on the lip of a boats wake

i have only ever gone behind a boat, oh ya and a car but i want to try behind a pwc. wakeskating rocks because if your wakeboarding behind a pwc i heard it sucks but wakeskating can be just the same behind both.

For me it depends. When I go ona trip to the lake a boat is a must. Because I bring alot of people, and I board too. But, me and my homies have found a huge pond/half a lake thing. Close to the asterisk rezzy, and we are gonna use a pwc because of the size and easy handling.

100% agreed.

For those of you with the gtx wakeboard edition, how do you like it.
I've heard some ppl say they pull to the side too much.

I ride behind a boat. I like to do lip tricks and PWCs dont make a big enough wake, but thats my opinion.

Synergy, pulling to the side is an issue with riding behind any seadoo or pwc...it happens when you cut out really hard against the boat, you pull the rear end towards you....its not noticeable when riding, but driving you gotta kinda hold the steering a bit to the side where the rider is. i really love my sea doo wakeboard edition, the pylon makes a huge difference, and since ive shorted my riding lenght to 60ft its become that much more enjoyable.

riding behind waverunners is the best u can go in as shallow water as you want, and it makes hitting rails alot easyer, the only thing bad is no wake to wake but tech is still awsome and thats mostley what i ride is a small boat or jet ski, so go with the sea doo
