Hey, guys I was just looking for a little feedback on the 08 Oak Flake Flippin Flapjack I'm considering buying and the price is definitely right. Because now I'm riding 42 SST with the bottom peeled off and it's pretty slow and i can only get it to flip inside out or w2w (but I still digg it), so I'm really just looking for a board thats spins quick flips on the flats and still has enough weight for w2w tricks (an upgrade). Thanks any feedback is appreciated. . .

sesekas, if you have ever ridden there 07 moondog they are nearly the same, but the 08 is suppose to hold up better.

and, i would also consider trying the Horan.

DirtyCracker, yeah they're just a bit too expensive and the anxiety on the delivery would kill me

Gnarly Dancer 42, yeah that SST just seems too damn big slow and heavy, i am a skateboarder before i became a wakeskater so I feel like I can relate to Horan with trying to really flick a kickflip rather than kicking in down

thanks Kid512, it really sounds like the board for me from what I've heard from the forums

Gnarly Dancer 42, ya i skated before too, but i was trying to say the sst 42 rotates way easier when you flick instead of mob, i learnd that the hard way by breaking the first bottom deck Razz

you pretty much can't go wrong with any oak wakeskate Wink

I think the sst is a perfect weight and if you cant ride it, doubt a oak is going to work any better, I think oaks are great I have had few, but you barely have to flick the sst...

Oak's last a long time. My cousin has one that they have ridden for 3 years, and hit many obstacles, and it still rides great. But when i rode the SST it flipped just as good as my sattelyte and my integ. From what I've ridden, bi-levels flip easier, but not by a significant amount.

sesekas, this is my fav. oak. the only prob is i love my integ and they ride very close to the same. its one of the lighter oaks this year but my problem with it is the tip and tail with are too skinny, but i rock a sz 13 shoe so you might not have that problem. rides better finless imo.
