the only problem with that axle isn't keyed all the way through but depending on your spool dimensions and where you want to place the sprocket it should work. let me know if oyu would like to know how the keyway is spaced if you are thinking about ordering it.

Along the same lines.....How about a hollow tube to save weight? Are they strong enough?
