andy ross, omggg how could i forget Basino. His was my favorite part in FITB. Amazing style, and great song haha. He was my fav rider for a while, but he seems to have dropped of the wakeskate scene to my knowledge at least.
DIRK, Most people on the forums wont agree just because they dont wanna soil their name.
wakemitch, ya.
kyle hyams, ya he needs to ride alot more, i saw him ride after not riding for month still went out and threw mad hammers, all his backside stuff is SO STYLE. |

I <3 Stu's style. I've watched his vid on alliance probably 12 times and it still makes me stoked every time I watch it. _________________ http://www.flickr.com/photos/nizzate/ |

i really like nick and andy p's style because everything they do is really solid, popped, legit and clean, and all their flip tricks are nice n' flicked too. its just flawless.
i really like dannys too, his lip lines flow so nicely, you cant tell if he's riding switch or regular either, skate style flip tricks too. lemons and kyle hyam's riding flow really nicely too
ben horan, best flip tricks on a wakeskate, his riding is identical to skating
stu shin and a reed go huge on everything w2w no watter what it is and make it look good.
and of course thomas horrel, he is the definition of wakeskating |
spot on chap , spot on |

DIRK, i like his flip tricks and his w2w fs 3 in narla was pretty cool even tho it was kinda sketchy on the landing
but im not a fan of how he reverts around from switch to do another regular trick, thats why watching danny hampson is so cool, he can just flow his lines together and it doesnt even matter which way he's facing _________________ http://www.stickandflick.com

Dorks. That was a kissing booth at one of the tour stops in 2004. Each stop had a themed booth...like pink pony rides, one spot had cheer leaders, and that stop had a kissing booth.
Reed hansen has one of my favorite flats kickflips in wakeskating history. I personally really dig his style. And as far as I can tell, people on here are pretty straight forward about whose style they like and dislike, and really don't care about "soiling their name." A lot of people said reed originally looked robotic...but a lot will also agree that he's improved his style a lot. To each his own!
Danny hampson. I don't have anything bad to say about him. I wish I could figure out how to get my 3 shuvs to rotate like his.
Ben Horan is a breath of fresh air.
David hanson is like an old soul when it comes to wakeskating. I say this because he looks so damn comfortable it almost seems lawbreaking. There's lots of new talent in wakeskating, but a lot of them don't have that polished look that david has.
I will always like aaron reed's style, whether it's lip tricks or that re-entry pop style (best displayed in RLAND) that I always try to emulate whenever I'm preparing for a re-entry anything.
I watch "in its travels" and I kind of miss kyle walton behind the boat.
And thomas and drew are classics. But thomas is the man. Always looking at the wake differently and another one of those riders that just looks like they belong on a wakeskate (and creating things for wakeskating). Hate your lip tricks all you want (I know that's cool right now), but that's one of the most creative uses of the wake, ever...like it's one thing that's distinctly wakeskating, with a touch of skate inspiration.
EDIT: I'm hating myself for forgetting this guy, but cole munster. The man. He's definitely one of the first riders, if not the first, who I saw and said, I want to ride like that. He's got a lazy style, and that is also why I like danny molina, and why i also miss phillip basino.
NOW I'm done! _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

Took the words right outa my mouth. I miss seeing awsome lip stuff. I think thats where i am the strongest. I love using the lip, and just busting out huge lip lines because nobody really does them any more. Its great doing things that alotta people have never even tried. I still have never seen anyone do some of the tricks i do on the lip, like front shuv to front board, or front board body variel to lip slide, or my favorite shuv on backbig to frontboard shuv out. Flip tricks seem to be taking over and lip tricks are dissapearing |
