Looking for some Canon digital rebel XT stuff

So I recently found myself in the possession of a digital rebel XT camera (yay!) except I have some major problems before I can start snapping wakeskating pictures...

I need a compactflash memory card, battery, and charger for it.

I know there are a lot of camera gurus on this site, so hopefully someone has some of this gear lying around and would like to make some cash money by selling. I was hoping to avoid cheap ebay stuff, but may have to since I cannot afford to spend like $200.

Any help would be appreciated.. Even if you know of deals online and can point me in the right direction

goto frys for compact flash if you want a cheap price, or even costco.

put the battery model into google and you'll find lots of places to buy cheap batteries and chargers.. probably around 12-15 bucks for the knock off batts. I've had good experiences with them, and they also have higher mAh than the stock batteries do.

All I need to find now is a fast flash card...

s34n, this is the newest card on the market. and one of the fastest

but speed doesnt really matter unless your shooting a BIG file and
at very fast speeds continuosly.

this card will get the job done. i would buy it if i were you. a 2 gb extreme 3 at any store will be 50.00

So that card I bought off ebay recommended by EJazzle was a fake. It worked for a few hours but at a really low transfer speed (nowhere near what an Extreme IV should be) and then totally stopped working.

SanDisk confirms it is a fake, so now I have to pay to get it shipped back to china just to get my refund. LAME! Watch out for these fake cards on ebay ladies and gents

s34n, that sucks man. I picked up a couple 4GB SanDisk Ultra II's from Costco for $27 each. I think they have them for $39 when they aren't on sale. At least you know you're getting the real thing.
