got a board for dirt cheap

So i went to a board shop, asked the owner if he had any wakeskates and he told me he only had oaks, which run pretty high for my budget for a beginner board. so he showed me this LF Impulse that had cracks on the sides of it, not from use. He gave it to me for $40 which i thought was a steal of a deal with the free fins. What product would u use on the sides to seal them up real well? i already sanded it down. oh and hi, names brett and im in the gulfcoast.

Skimboarder, yeah i skim a lot and love it, so im thinking theres enough similarities to get me hooked.

here are some picks, theres really only one narly crack that im worried about, the rest are relatively small. wouldnt have picked that graphic if i had a choice either. Razz

definitely a sweet board for 40 bucks. i skimmed alot too but we had to move to tennessee. you might end up dropping skimming once you start skating Smash

yeah, the compound. the owner seemed like a great guy. I live right on University Pky and Tuttle. I've been to this one place where u go under ringling bridge and then under another smaller bridge off to the left. Theres an island where theres a rail. I saw someone wakeskating there before. I went out with this one girl that was learning and she was in the water and he totally sprayed her haha. But yeah, my bud and I are out there learning every so often. Im not very good so thats one way to spot me lol. We are also using a yellowish sea doo. Things damn fast, i can never resist going really fast, although i def. need to Cool

TrevorT, i drop in right at that place next to the van wesal, go under the ringling bridge, keep heading slight left and go under a bridge that i think is Siesta Dr. right after that bridge theres an island, its the island after that one. The people there that day had a little trolling boat, and the dude wakeskating was doing some mega fist pumps in the air, which i thought was funny cause my friend thought you were taunting her lmao. its all good though, i was being a douche on the waverunner anyways and just speeding around cause i was bored as fvck since she couldnt get up at all. The guy at compound, whats his name again?, said the LFs sucked and that hes only carrying oak and gator now. btw looks like a sick day to go out today, but i gotta go shoppin for a life vest fist Crying or Very sad

haha cyclone, pardon her french, she was getting so frustrated that day. we only had a wakeboard that day, i hadnt found that LF wakeskate yet. and yep, i have a speeding problem. so i try to drive as little as possible. but yeah, that the only place i kno of around the area.
