Is there anywhere to ride in Gainesville besides the wakeboard club?

Are you in the club? I just joined this year but I don't know how much I like it so far. My friend Matt and I go out to my lakehouse on Fridays usually (about 45 min from gainesville) and ride. We can always use other people to go with us

45 min in which direction? im on the north edge of tampa actualy in lutz, how far are you guys from there?

45 min southeast i guess you could say...its on Lake Weir which is outside of South Ocala

so wouldnt that be somewhat near me if i live like 5 min north of usf, id just hop on 75 or 275 right? if you wana go sometime ill bring some gas. or you can come out and ride with us we dont have a real nice boat or nething but its sweet for wakeskating

Yea I'm in the club but it gets pretty crowded and it's mostly wakeboarders. Have you been out there yet, on the boat?

Greg, yea it would be up I 75 about an hour maybe....maybe an hour and a half. Most of my friends wakeboard so if you did want to ever ride with us, you'd have to put up with that probably.

Ali...I havent gone out to the lake yet to ride with them. Something about the club kinda bothers me, like the people runnin it. Dont know how long I'll stick with it.

UFwakeskate, i never mind riding with wakeboarders, they always have the huge wakes conpared to the fishin boat we usualy use for skating. just tell me when and how to get there and ill go, but till the end of the weekend im real busy becuase of worlds commin up. just let me know whats goin on sometime. send me a pm or somethin with your number

greg...i'll give you some heads up a few days before we go next time. We had planned to go Friday but thats up in the air right now becuase my friend is possible going to have to go back home to handle some family stuff. I'll private message you when i know that we'll be out there again.

i know this is really old but when i searched gainesville this is pretty much all that came up...

im moving down tomorrow and would love to find someone to ride with... i have a board or 2, a winch, and gas/beer money...

im really hoping to be able to ride while im down for college
