ive seen the trailer on the bonus features of asterisk, but im keeping my expectations low because there's so much hype, what should i expect when i watch this for the first time?

oh and does the vhs still have the alternate soundtrack?

Well gnarly dancer, with that attitude I'm not even sure you'll even grasp its significance. A lot of riders can do a lot of the tricks in that film nowadays, but at the time, frontside flips, varial flips and wake to wake kickflips, noseslides over metrowest via the "pink box"(has any one else ever done that?) were not the norm. On top of it, nobody even really knew about danny hampson. He had some magazine coverage and he won his very first professional wakeskating event (detroit, 2003). He was just making a name for himself. So I think the general public at large was really shocked when they saw this dude throwing varial flips, frontside flips, and a back to back wake to wake kickflip to flats kickflip. The lip trick lines are abundant as well.

Anyway, expect to see danny hampson's break out section, creative riding (and editing) in jim's section, drew popping re-entry everythings up to the sky, thomas being classic, and aaron reed owning the texas gap and having one of the cleanest, most proper wake to wake kickflips ever. I'm not just saying that, either...

Bonus sections are on DVDs, not VHS tapes. Razz

sfumato is the best skate vid there is, dannys steez in that movie is just epic, he looks like hes 12 riding a 4 trac...correction....slaying a 4 trac. lip trick after lip trick t/s and h/s perfect as can be, flats kickies that are popped to ravens nest. drew just throws the re entry through the roof, the re entry kicky was just POPPED. thomas ridin with his normal perfect flow. reed slays it down. this is def the best movie ever.
