amsteel comes on 600 foot spools, so you'd need to get it in two sections anyways if you went that route.
I have 600 feet of amsteel and if i need extra i've got 150 feet of normal line for boat riding. |

Thats pretty cheap compared to $175 for bulletlines....definetley going to get me some. |

There will probably never be a spot to winch that will require 600 ft. Just to be safe I got 800 ft and I don't think Ill ever do an 800 ft pull again.(I did one at my my lake and I was all the way out of a big as$ cove and in the lake. I was afraid I was gonna get run over) |

is that 7/64 amsteel enough for winching strenth wise? i thought people were using a slightly longer size? i havent gotten a chance to have my winch out much lately but we did buy 600' of bullet line for it about 6 months ago. however, $84 for 600' sounds pretty awesome if it is indeed strong enough, we go to the beach too so more line would be sweet |
