Just picked up a flat bottom john boat for $500 with the trailer in pretty good condition, and my buddy hooked me up with a free outboard for the power. Working on a simple tower for the back and she'll be ready to rage.

I didn't mean like expensive tower. I just meant one with a sweet design to make the boat look sick. Especially a homemade tower.

ya my buddy is working on something for me, just deciding if i want to throw down the $$ for aluminum tubing, thinking just a simple rectangle frame that is about a foot over the drivers head over the back of the motor and a brace running down at an angle to the side of the boat should work good.

Soulprogression,
I like it man. a 25 will be enough power for sure. I know a 25 rips me out of the water behind my brothers boat, so unless you a real big dude, then it should be fine.

Can't wait to see the riding pics.

me and Soulprogression, rode today with the new whip. overall we were really stoked on its performance. we broke it in for like 30min. then both rode for like 4 sessions each and maybe used 1/3 of a 6 gallon tank. the get up was no problem and the i/o was super fun.
