My 08' Control broke yesterday when I was hitting the incline at LOTW.

bigtwake, I don't think this one has the same tone as the rest of the "LF breaking" threads. He's just bummed a board he likes broke. It happens. Rails break boards sometimes. Landing wrong can break them too. It's the nature of the game. You push, you get pushed back sometimes

feelnjstfine, Yeah thats pretty much the nail on the head. I really liked that board and my mom bought it for me for my birthday so that makes it even worse. It was so damn choppy yesterday that I guess I misjudged the rail and ollied a little to early and smacked the board on the edge of the trex and cracked it all the way thru. I did however get mad close to landing a 3 shuv after it broke so that was cool. Now in the process of looking for a new board. Not sure what I want tho... Sad

gporter, Meh. Im on the fence right now. I really dont know if I want another wood board thats probably going to break but at the same time im leaning towards a NEW wakeskate because I have heard that their warranty policy is out of this world and I wont have to worry about breaking my board anymore. I have ridden all the new integs and the only one I like so far was that Bamboo Lemons and thats way to expensive right now. I just dont know what I want I guess.

DirtyCracker, Ok well thats cool but I still am not sure about buying a board thats a new shape that I havent gotten a chance to ride yet

If you want a strong wood deck, check out oak. I have had my oak for 2 years and still rides perfectly

Lollar, if you want something tried and trued sounds like the new is the way to go their inexpensive consistent boards.

-Supra-, Yeah I was thinkin that. I rode Matt H's Team and I really liked it. But I was thinkin about getting a smaller board like the Flippin Flapjack or something.
