wakeskate grip help!!!!

hey i have the 2007 liquid force anthem with the foam surface. i don't like the foam and i'm wondering if i can take off the foam and replace it with griptape. is this a good idea or will it mess up the pop and feel of the board?

of course you can but they whole point of a anthem is to have the concave foam. If you take the foam off it will be the same thing as a faction

if you want grip but still want concave you are going to have to buy a new wakeskate.

like -Supra- said, if you take off the foam of an anthem you just have a wood flat skate.
